2005 Football Programs Debut

This season, each UGA football program will not only focus on the current team but take a look back at the famous 1980 team, since this is the 25th anniversary of their national championship season.

Game One's program (vs Boise State) features starting quarterback D.J. Shockley on the cover, with an inset image of legendary Coach Vince Dooley. The programs come shrink-wrapped with a set of seven trading cards featuring the 1980 team (see detailed article elsewhere on this site).
Inside are two articles on the 1980 season: one about Vince Dooley and another about the win over Tennessee that year.
There are also four Senior Spotlights on Russ Tanner, Brian Jordan, Gerald Anderson and John DeGenova – each with a full page photo.
