Knowshon Moreno was taken as the Denver Broncos' first round pick, 12th
overall in today's NFL draft. The University of Georgia running back rushed for 1,400 yards in 2008 and 1,334 in 2007.
In an interview with the Denver Post, Moreno explained, "When I got the phone call (from the Broncos), I was so happy. I can't wait to get there. I'm looking forward to working
with (Broncos running backs coach) Bobby Turner. He has coached some
great running backs."
The article also reported that Moreno called himself "a hard-nosed runner who can make you miss at times. I'm a competitor."
I know that DawgFans will agree that Broncos fans have some exciting times ahead!
