The Dawgs' 44 points is a new school record, surpassing the previous mark of 41 points in the 2008 Sugar Bowl versus Hawaii. Read more > News and Notes (continued) Changes to Defensive Coaching Staff Dec 2, 2009 GeorgiaDogs.com reports that following the 2009 football season, the contracts of three Georgia assistant football coaches will not be renewed. Defensive coordinator and secondary coach Willie Martinez, defensive co-coordinator and linebacker coach John Jancek, and defensive ends coach Jon Fabris will not return in 2010 according to head coach Mark Richt. All three have been asked to coach through the bowl game.
